Today I finished the Airmar transducer certified installer course. I will be purchasing  TDT1000 transducer testing tool. With this tool any Airmar transducer that I install will have a warranty for three years from date of installation. Typically transducers have a one or two year warranty from date of manufacture not from the purchase date. I will also offer a yearly test scan on the transducers for a flat rate of $50.00. This scan will provide you with a printout of how your transducer is functioning. Its great to find how your transducer is performing in the off season in the event it needs to be replaced.
